Solve this equation using substitution.

{4x + y = −2}
{4x + 6y = 44}

4x + y = −2 --> 4x = -y - 2

4x + 6y = 44

Substitute 4x in the 2. equation.

(-y - 2) + 6y = 44

5y - 2 = 44

5y = 46

y = 9.2

4x = -9.2 - 2

4x = -11.2

x = -2.8
