The answer is a histogram is a diagram consisting of rectangles whose area is proportional to the frequency of a variable and whose width is equal to the class interval. A polygon is a shape that has at least 3 sides and is enclosed. They are almost completely different other than the fact that a histogram use rectangles, which are polygons, to find an answer.
