Answer:

A prime number is a number greater than 1 with only two factor which is 1 and themselves. A prime number cannot be divided by any other number without leaving a remainder.

A prime number is a positive integer with no factors other than itself and 1. The number 1 is not a prime number because it does not have two different factors; the only factor of 1 is 1.
