In general, given two points, we can find the slope of a line by using the next formula

[tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

In our problem,

[tex]\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(-3,1),(x_2,y_2)=(2,7) \\ \Rightarrow m=\frac{7-1}{2-(-3)}=\frac{6}{5}=1.2 \end{gathered}[/tex]

The answer is 1.2
