well, William introduced laws after his victory at Hastings in 1066. It had a great Impact on everybody in England. William introduced those laws to control English. he gained a reputation of being a tyrant in England. Those laws were build to conquer and destroy nations. But it could of been a lot worse. William attempted to learn English to control them and there population.after the rebellion in north England Williams rule became more harsh.
