Give an example of how the ability to construct good arguments could help you in your career or in your daily life

The concept of a good argument is of course quite vague, if an argument has only one or more false premises, then it is not a good argument. Unless the premises of an argument are all true, then it would have no reason to accept to accept its conclusion. In my line of my work In Home Health Care there is always a good argument to go on.
