Carmen needs at least 86 points to pass Karissa's score. Karissa has 631 points. How many points does Carmen have?

This question is a bit vague. At least from my point of view. Be glad I'm even doing this.  
Anywho, Let's figure this out. 

631-86 = 544

So Carmen would technically have 544 points to have the same amount as Karissa. But, but, but, the question states that, "Carmen needs at least 86 points to pass Karissa..." So since Carmen has to pass Karissa's score we can say that she has 545 points rather than 544 because 545 + 86 = 632 which is one more point than Karissa's to "pass," her score.
