A fragpole is 10 feet tall. It’s shadow is 12 feet long. How far is it from the lip of the fragpole to the end of its shadow?

Judging how the question is asked, I believe the answer is... 2 feet maybe?

pythagoras -> c^2 = a^2 + b^2

C^2 = 10^2 + 12^2
C^2 = 100 + 144
c= root square of 244
C= 15.62 feet
