1.Ecology- the branch of which relates organisms to one another and there habitats.
2.It matters because without it how would we know exactly which organisms are related.
3.An example would be the study of wetlands.

Ecology is the study of how organisms live and adapt. This is important because we need to know how organisms live and adapt to their surroundings.
