If there is the same slope but different y-intercepts can there paths ever cross?

if the gradient is the same but there are different y intersects, the straight lines will never cross but they will be parallel. the answer is they will never cross

No, because lines that have same slopes are parallel and parallel lines never cross. So they will not cross. Hope this helps.
